S2-E4 The safety of sport without losing the spirit of sport

Season 02 Episode 04: The crew discuss the work-from-anywhere phenomenon in sport when the enforcement of work health safety regulations is a reluctant approach and we (society) want the fight of sport to occur on the field. “This is food for thought”, says Trajce, “criminal law (sanctions) can still apply to illegal acts occurring on the football field…  those involved in the sport, the corporations, the owners,… empower themselves through self-regulation and codes of conduct to try and lift the game.” The crew debate how to maintain the spirit of the sport through work design, else risk “nintendo football,” and becoming, “Un-Australian,” charges Sara, should regulations impede performance intention.
